Between 13:31:23 and 13:31:52 ET, BATS experienced a momentary internal network disruption on 2 matching engines affecting underlying symbol range PM SHZZZ. The network disruption was a result of a network port failure and the resulting failover process. Matching and routing on this symbol range was automatically disabled. Once failover was deemed successful, matching and routing was re-enabled at 13:35:36 ET. Orders that were in flight at the time of the disruption and appeared stuck after the disruption were electronically resolved at 13:38:22 ET. Corrective action will take place after market hours to prevent recurrence of port failure and to shorten the failover process.
BATS apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this issue and appreciates your continued business. Please contact the BATS Trade Desk or your Director of Sales with any questions.
