Adam Inzirillo, Global Head of Data and Access Solutions, reflected on the past year in a note to customers.

As we wrap up 2023, I wanted to officially introduce myself and share some 2023 data and access highlights.

In October I became the global head of Cboe’s Data and Access Solutions business after almost four years leading our North American Equities team. Prior to joining Cboe, I spent more than 20 years in equities trading, most recently at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. I have big shoes to fill in this role, but my varied experience gives me a unique perspective that will help our team continue to find new solutions to meet your needs.

In 2023, we found innovative new ways to enhance the trading experience and improve accessibility. We continued to disseminate equities data via the Cboe One Feed, which provides cost-effective, high-quality reference quotes and trade data for market participants looking for comprehensive, real-time market data. Seeing the utility of the Cboe One Feed in the equities market, we developed the Cboe One Options Feed to address the growth of the U.S. options market and offer real-time pricing to customers seeking more choice in how they receive options market data. In collaboration with our Cboe Labs team and industry partners we launched several new indices, including the 1-Day Volatility Index and the Cboe S&P 500 Dispersion Index.

Our purpose of building trusted markets begins with transparency, and our breadth of accessible market data offerings make our commitment clear. Cboe Global Cloud is one of the best examples of this, providing real-time streaming data to multiple, separate and distinct platforms. We continued to offer new, insightful data solutions ranging from low-latency, top-of-book feeds to full depth-of-book feeds and historical data, and we continuously calculated more than 400 derivatives-based indices, offering an accessible entry point into a growing market.

This year we also focused on bringing together our various analytics platforms to provide a more seamless user experience. Our holistic data, analytics, and execution services offer a solution for every step in the trading lifecycle, no matter who you are or where you are.

Finally, earlier this week we published the Cboe MSCI Volatility Indices based on MXEASM and MXEFSM index options, providing a transparent measure of the market’s expectation of 30-day volatility implied for the respective MSCI index option classes. We are so excited about the addition of these new indices that deliver important market insights and are looking forward to sharing more about our growing partnership with MSCI® soon. For more about our Derivatives business, check out Catherine Clay's year-end note.

In 2024, we’re excited to explore how we can further integrate these platforms and services to provide a true one stop shop for our customers. Of course, we'll also continue to offer robust data and analytics and seek new ways to enhance your trading experience. We welcome your feedback on our platforms and services so please don't hesitate to reach out to me or a member of our team.

Thank you for choosing Cboe. We look forward to working with you in 2024.

Happy holidays!
