Between 13:31:23 and 13:31:52 ET, BATS experienced a momentary internal network disruption on 2 matching engines affecting underlying symbol range PM SHZZZ. The network disruption was a result of a network port failure and the resulting failover process. Matching and routing on this symbol range was automatically disabled. Once failover was deemed successful, matching and routing was re-enabled at 13:35:36 ET. Orders that were in flight at the time of the disruption and appeared stuck after the disruption were electronically resolved at 13:38:22 ET. Corrective action will take place after market hours to prevent recurrence of port failure and to shorten the failover process.
